Sir Robert Falcon Scott was a British explorer that set sail to reach the South Pole first. It was later found that Norwegian Explorer Ronald Amundsen had beaten him to it by 4-5 weeks.

The PRO mask uses a unique triple filter system.

The first layer of the filter system catches larger pollution particles such as dust and PM10. It’s then backed up by the Three-Ply Micro Particulate which stops nearly 100% of smaller particulate matter such as PM2.5 and PM0.3.

The inner filtration layer is made from 100% pure activated carbon cloth, originally developed by the UK Ministry of Defence for chemical, biological, and nuclear warfare protection.

The carbon filter is treated with silver to ensure 99% of harmful pathogens are removed and killed.

This multi layered  filter system means the Cambridge Mask performs better and lasts longer than other masks on the market.

    The PRO Mask can be used for up to 340 hours depending on the level of pollution it is exposed to.

    For the average customer this is around 3-6 months of wear. The mask can be washed with soap and hot water, however, keep in mind that this will not extend the life of the filters.

    Pull Strings - Defective Design

    Third one of this type - once the pull strings are cinched up there is no way to loosen the fit aka the strings going back into the strap casing. No idea how this could work for anyone. Then you have this plastic toggles hanging down at your cheeks when tightened.

    Pros & Cons

    I like the idea that it filters out viruses and bacteria but have no way to verify that. I'm hopeful it will filter out pollen, smoke and clouds of dry dirt stirred up this summer.
    I like the soft ear loops but find they slip off. I guess I'll have to use the head strap. I bought a small based on the measurements but find it barely covers midway down my nose to just under my chin. I ordered another in medium. Maybe that will help with the ear loop issue too. Also, I ordered the light gray trying to have it look more subtle but find the black trim and vent really stand out a lot. I wanted to order one in all black but the medium was more than 3 times the price. The dark blue (not navy) was the same price for small or medium so that's what I got.

    I've used masks for about 10 years now due to MCAS and other autoimmune issues. My favorite to date has been vogmask, but these totally take the cake. I love the design, the fact that it comes with a strap and extra nose guard and that you can tighten this mask on the bottom side, eliminating any gaps. The measurement guide was dead-on and both my and my husband's masks fit perfectly. It all makes for an excellent fit and great protection. I love the triple filter design, too. These masks do not fog our glasses at all and definitely provides the level of protection I need to stay safe from allergens, viruses and bacteria. Thank you. These masks set me and my family at ease when we have to go out.
