HOW CAN I PROTECT MYSELF FROM PM2.5 DURING WILDFIRE
Going inside the house will limit exposure but does not eliminate the risks associated with breathing in PM 2.5. Wearing a certified mask can filter out fine particles in the smoke from wildfires but don't forget a DIY mask or a surgical mask will not protect you these do not have effective filters for capturing the harmful micro-particles.
