What materials are used in the PRO & BASIC masks?

Our PRO and Basic masks contains latex inside the ear loops and toggles on the chin strap. This elastic band is covered by two fabric layers. Further details of the masks' materials can be seen here. 

What does the valve do?

It is important to know that the valve of the mask plays a key role in safety, by preventing CO2 build-up and reducing humidity, which can encourage viral and bacterial growth.    

How often do I need to change the filter?

Great news! There's no need to change the filter, as the entire mask acts as the filter.    

How long can the mask be used for?

Cambridge Masks are reusable and offer up to 340 hours of use for the PRO and Non-valve masks and 90 hours for the BASIC mask.  

Can I remove the valve from the mask?

We do not recommend removing the mask's valve, as this will affect the functionality and performance of your Cambridge Mask.
